In 2023, the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare and IIPS tasked Sigma with implementing India's flagship demographic and health survey, NFHS-6, in Andhra Pradesh and the remote Andaman & Nicobar Islands. The successful completion of NFHS-6 fieldwork provided the government with critical, high-accuracy data on population, health, and nutrition indicators. This data is essential for tracking progress on national health goals and designing evidence-based interventions.
